With my guidance and step by step format from start to finish I give a basic hands on approach to shoe making the old fashioned way, we go over things such as pattern making, building your own soles, to suppliers, to completing your own shoes. I can even guide you on how to start your own brand.
My workshop partners and offerings
I have partnered with the flower Cafe in Woodstock, and Woodheads in the city central and DIY craft bar in Noordhoek where I run my workshops from in Cape-town . And Milner Fashion House in Pretoria, and The SOOQ in Fourways where I run my workshops in Gauteng, as well as Urth conference center in Bloemfontein and Burnedale Farm in Ballito Umhlali in KZN . I offer team building workshops for companies as well as event workshops for end of year functions, even birthday parties and hen parties, what ever your specific event requirements are whether it just be a fun private at home session, you decide. I also offer a 3 day more advanced workshop as well as a 1 day private option for basic shoe making skills. This new offering is something completely different and will be perfect for the person who just wants to have a fun session making summer sandals without all the hard work. This is a pop up workshop making sandals in under 30 minutes, no glues, no mess, no pressure. It consists of a shoe menu with 15 different style designs to choose from as well as a menu of different size and colour strap options. The sandal is already attached with soles so you simply punch your markers and place your straps and secure....very similar to the Italian method of sandal making. And with my guidance you will be able to make a beautiful sandal in under 30 minutes and be able to wear it immediately.... It's fast and budget friendly for those who just want to make a pair of sandals without wanting to learn the skill set and just wanting to have a fun experience..
